Creative concepting for The National College for Nuclear put together whilst working at AUK. The National College for Nuclear is a newly opened college within the UK. It has hubs in Cumbria (Lakes College) and Somerset (Bridgwater & Taunton College), and state of the art facilities that include virtual, simulated laboratories. The college will help thousands of young people and learners gain the knowledge and skills they need to work in the nuclear sector.

The logotype

Utilising the repeated N to create a dynamic mark which embodies the transfer of energy generated by the splitting of the atom.

Opting for a bright vivid orange, establishes a modern and industrial feel without falling for the overused and somewhat negative connotation of green within the nuclear industry.
